A Florida woman is accused of attacking a man after he rebuffed her repeated attempts to get him to have sex with her.

Leslie Mills, 26, came home after going out drinking on Thursday and demanded that the victim, who was sleeping in their Ocala home, have sex with her, according a criminal complaint obtained by the Smoking Gun.

The victim moved to a couch in the living room to try to get some sleep after a persistent Mills woke him. She followed behind him.

Police said she climbed on top of the man and continued to ask him to have sex. He again declined. The victim then locked himself in a bathroom to get away from Mills, who became angered and began banging on the door. She managed to get the door open, according to police.

The victim then spotted a hatchet in her hands.

Mills was carrying a hatchet that had been taken from the living room wall, according to police. The man was able to wrestle the hatchet away from Mills before he fled the home and called 911.

Officers found Mills in a bathrobe outside of the home. She appeared to be intoxicated.

She was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Mills was released from jail after posting $5,500 bond.
