Karen McGehee, a retired school teacher, breaks a five-year silence in the 2010 police shooting of her daughter, Caroline Small, in this AJC video.
Small was shot by two Glynn County police officers after a low-speed chase in Brunswick. She was unarmed.
The officers shot her in the head and face through the windshield of her car and were recorded on police audio comparing their marksmanship after the shooting.
Neither officer faced any consequences and both retain their law enforcement powers.
Read how an unlikely group of activists is seeking action in the case in the AJC's exclusive report.
