The vast majority of us would agree that even if COVID-19 hasn’t yet impacted us or someone we love physically, then it’s taken its toll on us mentally.

It’s transformed how we connect with friends and family, our learning experience as students, and how we celebrate life’s biggest milestones.

While things are beginning to open up again, the fear for our own health and that of our loved ones persists.

Getting vaccinated, however, is a simple but major step towards regaining that sense of safety.

Yusra Khan, 19, lives in Alpharetta. She is a sophomore at Georgia Tech and a member of the Roswell Community Masjid.
