All southbound lanes of I-75 in Cobb County have reopened following a predawn truck wreck, but traffic remains jammed for about 12 miles.

The wreck, which involved a tractor-trailer and a smaller box truck, happened just before 6 a.m. at the South Marietta Parkway overpass.

There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.

Three right lanes were blocked fore more than an hour, with traffic squeezing by in the two left lanes.

By the time the lanes were reopened at 7:10 a.m., the resulting traffic jam stretched about 12 miles to beyond Wade Green Road.
