A DeKalb County church has only a few weeks to move out of its current building to make way for a movie company to move in, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Calvary New Life Tabernacle has been in DeKalb for more than 25 years and has occupied their current building on International Park Drive for 12 years, Channel 2 reported.

Pastor Samie Conyers told Channel 2 he received an email from his landlord saying they have to vacate the property by June 15, which he called short notice.

Conyers said his congregation includes about 100 people, which is mostly comprised of children, Channel 2 reported.

“Where are the kids going to go if we don’t have a place next Sunday or Wednesday? We pick up 25 to 30 kids every Wednesday and Sunday,” Conyers told the news station.

Conyers told Channel 2 he isn’t upset at the landlord for renting to the movie studio, but he wishes he could have more time to find another space.
