In a four-day span, two Henry County schools were evacuated due to possible bomb threats.

Ola High School was evacuated for an hour Monday after officials found a note about a bomb, Henry County Schools spokesman J.D. Hardin said.

The note was found about 1 p.m. It was not immediately known who found the note or where it was found.

Hardin said law enforcement was at the school making sure the location was safe.

On Friday, Ola Middle School was evacuated for a bomb threat.

Hardin said the threats were “something that have been a huge disruption to our schools.”

School officials are investigating both incidents.
