The man believed to have pulled the trigger in a fatal shooting early Sunday at a Dalton nightclub was arrested Monday.

Orlando Ramirez, 20, was wanted on one count of homicide and two counts of aggravated assault. He was taken into custody at a Marietta apartment complex by U.S. Marshals, Dalton police said.

Two men were arrested Sunday and charged with homicide as accessories to the fatal shooting — 20-year-old Juvencio Vega Garcia and 21-year-old Fernando Resendiz. Both men are accused of being with Ramirez before, during and after the shooting, detectives said.

Police, who responded at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, believe Ramirez fled the Las Delicias Bar after a shooting that left 28-year-old Bruno Rodriguez dead and another man injured.

The survivor was transported to Hamilton Medical Center, where he was treated and later released.

Ramirez was being booked into the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office Jail on Monday night.

Authorities also arrested his girlfriend, 18-year-old Alexa Jiminez, on charges of making false statements to law enforcement officers and hindering the apprehension or punishment of a criminal, police said.
