The Tennessee Titans have seen enough of quarterback Tim Boyle to make a change after one preseason game.

The Titans announced Monday they signed quarterback Trevor Siemian and terminated Boyle's contract. Center Lloyd Cushenberry also passed his physical as he works his way off the physically unable to perform list following his season-ending Achilles tendon injury.

Boyle was the Titans' third quarterback in a 29-7 loss to Tampa Bay. He wound up with a 0.6 passer rating after he was 4 of 13 for 24 yards with two interceptions and sacked once.

Siemian spent much of 2024 on the Titans' practice squad, including three games where he dressed. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Siemian also was on Tennessee's practice squad much of the 2020 season. He has started 33 of 40 career games and has been with Denver, Minnesota, the Jets, New Orleans, Chicago and Cincinnati.

Titans coach Brian Callahan said Sunday that Cushenberry would be practicing this week as the veteran works his way back. Tennessee is practicing against the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday and Wednesday before Friday night's exhibition game.
