Up to $250,000 has been authorized for landscaping work in a number areas around Stockbridge after a proposal was approved by the City Council at its Sept. 29 workshop meeting. The contract awarded to Yellowstone Landscape - Southeast LLC is for “general groundskeeping, horticultural maintenance, irrigation and cleanup of landscape areas, repairs to vandalism, irrigation systems and replacement of plant materials,” according to a city staff report. Staff comments at the meeting indicated that the affected areas include City Hall, Municipal Court, the new amphitheater, the new public works building, Merle Manders Conference Center, Ted Strickland Community Center, and certain streetscapes and other locations.
