Q: First off, thanks for sharing your readers’ quest for products. I have bought some of them because of your column. All of the sudden Tums Freshers have all but disappeared from store shelves. The Tums homepage gives a list of retailers, but not one stocks them. The prices I find for them online are too expensive. Any ideas? Thanks. — D. Allen, Lawrenceville

A: So, here’s the story behind the missing Tums Freshers. I spoke with someone at GlaxoSmithKline who told me that the antacid breath mint combo, Freshers, have not been discontinued. However, due to some manufacturing issues, production is very limited for the time being, but the company hopes that those issues will be cleared up in a few months. Some of the local pharmacies I checked with no longer had Tums Freshers in their catalogs. However, I tracked down a pharmacy that could order a few packs of Tums Freshers containing 50 each, only in the spearmint flavor. You’ll find those at Gwinnett Pharmacy, 1880 Braselton Highway, Lawrenceville, 770-338-1111. They’re $5.18 each.

Q: I’m hoping you can help me find this item. My sister-in-law is not a big coffee drinker but when she does drink a cup, she can only tolerate decaf Sanka. I have been trying to help her find this product without any luck. I know if it is out there, you will be able to find it. Thank you. — Val Rogers, Snellville

A: Val, for years, Sanka was synonymous with decaffeinated coffee. While it’s not nearly as popular as if once was, Sanka is still available — if you know where to look. You’ll find Sanka in 2-ounce jars, $2.19, 4-ounce jars, $3.99, and 8 ounces for $5.99 on aisle 9 at Buford Highway Farmers Market, 5600 Buford Highway, Atlanta, 770-455-0770.

Q: I was at an event recently and tasted several cakes. I was surprised to find that they were from a mix called Sisters Gourmet. Where can I find this mix? I’ll take any flavor, but I especially liked the butter cake. Thanks for your help. — Suze Turner, email

A: Sisters Gourmet is a local company. Southern butter cake mix, and many other flavors are available at Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts, 965 North Point Drive, Alpharetta, 770-475-5454. Each package costs $9.99. You’ll also find the mix at www.joann.com, where they’re on sale for $4.99.

Q: While visiting in Chicago, we were served some toast with Nutella brought from Germany. It was the best Nutella I have ever tasted. I checked with World Market in Kennesaw, and it had only the one from Canada and New Jersey. If I am not mistaken, the German Nutella was in a glass jar, whereas my local supermarket has it in plastic jars. I would certainly love it if you could find it for me locally. It has a very distinct, delicious chocolate taste. Thank you for your help! — JoAnne Ledford, Roswell

A: There are differences in the flavor of Nutella, depending on where the hazelnut-chocolate spread is made. The Nutella from Germany, which comes in glass jars, is available at Bernhard’s German Bakery and Deli, 1592 Atlanta Road, Marietta, 770-218-1153. It’s available in two sizes: 350 grams, $5.75; 600 grams, $9.95. The original Ferrero Nutella comes from Italy, and it also is packaged in glass jars. If you want to give that one a try, visit East 48th Street Market, 2462 Jett Ferry Road, Dunwoody, 770-392-1499. Here, 825 grams of the nutty chocolate spread will set you back $17.79.
