French boutique Lilith offers a European flair with unique cuts and down-to-earth color palette, making the shop a perfect match for the eclectic Westside area.

The stores features local jewelry and fine art in store alongside womenswear. With luxury textiles and prices, this boutique is for the discerning Westside shopper. Lilith's store managers gave us insight into Lilith's style and the boutique as a whole.

Q: How would you describe Lilith's style?

A: I would describe the Lilith style as fun yet sophisticated. The use of traditional fabrics and colors, combined with interesting details, allows Lilith to remain current while maintaining the unique style our customers have come to love. It is not uncommon for a customer to drop in wearing a Lilith piece she bought 15 or more years ago when she was in Paris. Longevity, both in style and construction is what Lilith is most noted for.

Q: Who are the clothes catered to?

A: While Lilith's primary customer is between the ages 35 and 100, there is a little bit of something for every woman. Lilith is really more about the love of a true European style than it is about age. A recent and quite young customer said it perfectly, "Lilith makes polka dots look grown up, mature." The polka dot is Lilith's signature pattern.

Q: Where are your jewelry and fine art sourced from?

A: Currently, our fine art and jewelry are the works of local artists, Cynthia Knapp (fine art) and Heather Haase (jewelry) but we work with various artists from around the country.

Q: How much growth have you seen since opening the doors in February?

A: Our traffic has doubled since we first opened but people are really just now beginning to find us. Every day we have someone say that they had no idea we were here, how happy they are to see us in Atlanta and that there is nothing else like Lilith anywhere in the city.

Q: How does this store compare to the other U.S. locations?

A: We are actually the fourth location in the U.S. -- New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. Lilith opened in Washington D.C. in December 2015 just prior to opening in Atlanta in February. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to open the D.C. store for the company while construction was finalizing here in Atlanta. Physically speaking, the Atlanta store is the largest Lilith store in the US.

Q: What do you see for Lilith's future?

A: Growth. Lilith is considering a few others U.S. markets. The exact locations have not been determined yet but there have been whispers about Chicago, Boston and LA. And, we just recently opened a "stock" store in Brooklyn, NY where previous years' back stock of the US stores will soon be making its way.
