We've heard of high school sweethearts. But can a love that started way back in elementary school stand the test of time and teenage years?
If you look at one New Jersey couple's relationship as an example, you can say yes.
According to the Huffington Post, Sam Maccarone fell in love with Jessica Burzichelli when he was 10 and in 5th grade and with the nearly decade-long love story, Maccarone knew he needed something that went way beyond the normal bended knee proposal.
That's when he came up with a plan with a filmmaker friend and a musician family member to pop the question as the couple "starred" in a music video. The catch - the video was fake, but the question was real.
