Timing is everything when it comes to wildlife photography. What started as a routine assignment became the next viral sensation.

The Huffington Post reports that Canadian photographer Jim Lawrence was trying to capture an image of a grizzly bear fishing for salmon in British Columbia.

But the bear had other things in mind.

The grizzly bear became interested in the camera that Lawrence had set up but abandoned when the bear started moving in his direction.

Fortunately, Lawrence had another camera with him, and took the amazing shot with the bear standing on its back legs, peering into the viewfinder of the camera.

Lawrence said the bear studied the camera intently and touched the buttons with its paw. The bear’s concentration was broken when the long lens on the camera moved.

The bear sauntered away and went back to salmon fishing.

Unfortunately, the bear did not take any photos.

But Lawrence has a photo that is quickly going viral. He posted it on his Facebook page, where he titled the image, "That Other Wildlife Photographer." The image has over 7,400 shares. The image has taken Twitter by storm as well.
