Remember the obese dachshund that shocked rescuers when they found out he weighed 38 pounds?
The before and after photos of "Fat Vincent" have gone viral, and it's easy to see why.
Vincent was depressed after his owner died and he was dumped at a county animal shelter in Texas. In the before photo, Vincent weighed in at 38 pounds.
An animal rescue group then took Vincent in, and the pup soon dropped almost half of his body weight. Vincent now weighs in at 17 pounds.
A photo taken this month shows the fit pooch at the veterinarian's office.
The rescue group says it took the portly pup on plenty of walks and had Vincent performing water aerobics. You can follow Vincent's weight loss journey on his Facebook page.
Good for you, Vincent!
