Men, if you and your partner are trying to have a baby, you may want to forgo that serving of bacon.

A study from Harvard University found that processed meat is associated with lower quality of semen.

The Huffington Post reports the Harvard School of Public Health presented its link between bacon specifically and male fertility at a reproductive medicine conference Monday.

The team took a look at samples of more than 150 volunteers and compared the man's food consumption like hamburgers, hot dogs and of course, bacon and the volunteer's sperm quality.

The researchers found the link of eating processed meat with lower sperm count and structure.
