A fall film series that examines some of the world's key environmental issues kicks off at the Dunwoody Nature Center.

The first film in the free series is " Vanishing of the Bees," which will be shown at 7 p.m. Sept. 30 at the center, 5343 Roberts Dr. in Dunwoody. The film examines the social, environmental and economic consequences of the disappearance of honeybees around the world.

Others in the series are: "In Organic We Trust" at 7 p.m. Oct. 7; "Who Owns Water" at 7 p.m. Oct. 14; and "The Flight of the Butterflies", at 7 p.m. Oct. 21.

The series is funded through a grant by the Rotary Club of Dunwoody.

The movies and following discussion are open to the public. Snack, beverages and a cash bar will be available. To pre-register, call 770-394-3322.
