Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin poked fun at her most well-known impersonator in an arguably cringe-worthy spoof produced by the Independent Journal Review.
The video went live just days after Tina Fey reprised her role as the quotable politician on "Saturday Night Live."
Palin stars in the minute-long trailer for "31 Rock," a parody of Fey's "30 Rock," as Lynn Melon, a TV writer trying to "have it all" while railing against political correctness.
"Ah, nerds!" Melon growls at her distracted writing staff, repeating a catch phrase often uttered by Fey's Liz Lemon. Melon even demands to know where her Big Gulp is -- another common Lemon-ism from "30 Rock."
In a pair of unexpected twists, Sens. Lindsey Graham and John McCain appear in the video, apparently filling the roles of Kenneth Parcell (Jack McBrayer) and Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin), respectively. Dot Com (Kevin Brown), a key member of Tracy Jordan’s (Tracy Morgan) entourage in “30 Rock” also appears in the video.
In less than two days, the video garnered more than one million views on YouTube and a mixed bag of more than 800 comments.
"Doesn't work the other way, I guess," wrote YouTube user KhailAnonymous in the most popular comment on the video.
"Watching Sarah Palin act is cringier than my unpartnered socks," YouTube user Cucha Racha wrote.
