A teenager in Texas was planning to see Florence and the Machine last week, but when the health of 15-year-old Karinya Chen's health started to decline, the entertainers brought the concert to her.

Chen, who is battling cancer, asked staff at Hospice Austin if she would be able to go to her long-awaited concert.

But her health wouldn't allow it, KVUE reported.

Staffers at the health care facility contacted Florence and the Machine, who gave a private, 45-minute concert bedside concert.

The performance hit the hearts of many at the hospice.

"All of us were crying. All the staff were crying," Melinda Marble, a staff member at Hospice Austin, told KVUE.

"They brought our patient some T-shirts, a hoodie and a bag, a poster. Our patient wanted Florence to sign her arm with permanent marker so it wouldn't come off, and so Florence did," Marble said.
