Will Smith's next major movie is set to be released later this year.
The trailer for “Concussion," starring Smith, Alec Baldwin and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje came out on Monday.
According to IMDB:
"Will Smith stars in the incredible true David vs. Goliath story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, the brilliant forensic neuropathologist who made the first discovery of CTE, a football-related brain trauma, in a pro player."
The trailer opens with a shot of Heinz Field, and focuses on Omalu's clashes with the NFL.
According to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE, the film also stars David Morse as former Steelers center Mike Webster, who was the first NFL player to be diagnosed with CTE, and Albert Brooks as Dr. Cyril Wecht.
“Concussion,” which was shot in Pittsburgh last fall, is set for release on Christmas Day.
