On Tuesday's season premiere of "19 Kids and Counting," we finally got to see how Jill and Derick made their big, life-changing announcement to the rest of the Duggar family.

"We had taken a couple of pregnancy tests earlier. And they were negative, and, you know. And we went up there, and actually found out that it was positive yesterday," said Derick Dillard on "19 Kids and Counting."

The entire family was ecstatic after hearing the couple's news.

And, of course, Jim Bob had to make a cringeworthy dad joke.

"Can't believe it, Michelle! They worked faster than we did!" he said.

Awkward. But Derek didn't seem fazed, confessing soon after that he wouldn't mind having 19 children, especially if it's in God's plan.

Jill and Derek shared their baby news shortly after they found out they were expecting.

But now, Jill is just weeks away from giving birth to her son.

And they celebrated baby Dillard's impending arrival with "an unforgettable" shower for Jill and Derick last week.

Jill and Derick have yet to announce a name for their baby boy, but we can only hope it doesn't start with a "J."
