Karlie Kloss made her debut as a Victoria's Secret model in 2011.
"To be on that catwalk ... is a huge honor," Kloss said.
And the model has had a successful career since being discovered at just 14 years old. But Friday, rumors began surfacing the angel would hang up her wings and hit the books.
Kloss will be attending NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
Now don't get us wrong, she will be missed. Ed Razek, the senior creative on Victoria's Secret, wrote this message on Instagram: "Karlie is one of a kind, a very close friend, someone I truly admire and love. She is, without question, one of the best models ever."
"I see myself as a 22-year-old girl with lots of ambition," she told CBS.
Vogue broke the news for its March issue and Kloss – along with her best friend, singer Taylor Swift – graced the cover. According to Vogue, Kloss doesn't know what she wants to study just yet but says, "I'll still be working full time. ... I'm incredibly ambitious and have lots of goals within my career that I'm not slowing down on anytime soon."
"How are you going to juggle it all?" a CBS reporter asked.
"I will be bringing my schoolbooks to studios, studying on planes," Kloss said. "I will figure it out."
