The media blitz continues for Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton.
The Auburn star and Westlake High graduate delivered the famous "Top Ten" list on Monday night's "Late Show with David Letterman."
Even the famous trophy was there.
But if the CBS show was on past your bedtime, don't worry. We're here to share the College Park native's list, dubbed "The Top Ten Things Cam Newton Can Say Now That He Won the Heisman Trophy."
Despite being dressed in a sharp, black tuxedo, Newton's delivery wasn't quite as smooth as his game. He seemed almost nervous, but got laughs with the one-liners anyway.
One of our favorites is No. 6. "Next season I’m joining the cast of ‘Glee' as the gruff quarterback with the voice of an angel."
Nice one, Newton.
To top the list at No. 1, Newton said, "Need ID? How 'bout this?" before breaking into that signature Heisman Trophy pose.
The list avoided mentioning the controversy regarding Newton's father and the alleged pay-for-play scheme. But Letterman's line may have seemed to address the controversy.
"If I looked like that guy, you could all kiss my....," Letterman quipped.
