The third annual Letters Festival will take place Nov. 12 through Nov. 14, featuring live readings, a series of craft workshops and dialogues with independent writers from around the country.
The Letters Festival, presented by Lostintheletters, an Atlanta based literary organization, and in partnership with Atlanta Contemporary, is designed to present cutting-edge, divorce voices and styles.
Readings will feature several writers including poetry by Khadijah Queen of Denver, non-fiction by Ada Calhoun of New York and fiction writing by Nikki Igbo of Atlanta. Other highlights from the literary event includes after-party readings and free access to a book Market that will feature a curated collection of presses, publishers and literary journals including Black Ocean, Big Lucks and Calamari Archive. There will also be a discussion panel, entitled “Maintaining Your Writing Practice While Building a Literary Community.”
Some events are free; others cost $12 for a reading; $30 for three-day passes. Lower prices are available online.
High school and college students however, can attend all of the programs for free.
