Home Depot private label credit card owners had their names and e-mail addresses compromised in a security breach at a Dallas advertising company that affected millions of people.

Home Depot's credit card provider, Citi, began notifying customers Sunday. The breach at Epsilon, a third-party vendor that provides e-mail and other marketing services, affected at least 20 companies, including Best Buy, Target and Kroger.

A Home Depot spokesman said no account numbers were released.
