The Wells Fargo Foundation is giving $125,000 to the nonprofit Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership to redevelop vacant homes in areas hard hit by foreclosures.

The nonprofit has redeveloped 218 homes so far, and the gift will help it renovate 250 more homes over the next three years, said CEO John O’Callaghan.

Wells Fargo’s NeighborhoodLIFT program also helps ANDP. It provides qualified buyers with up to $15,000 in down payment assistance to purchase a home in the City of Atlanta.

“Wells Fargo is proud to support ANDP’s work to ensure that Atlanta’s working families have the opportunity to purchase a newly renovated home at an affordable price,”  said Mike Donnelly, Atlanta regional president for Wells Fargo.
