In the case of three of the "Real Housewives" cast members tonight, the past came back to haunt them.

Let's go over each briefly.

-Kandi Burruss: The most shocking is the appearance of her daughter Riley's father's girlfriend Kris Kelli popping up out of nowhere at the Kandi Factory. Russell "Block" Spencer, who lives in New York and is a record producer, wants to reconnect with Riley. He has rarely - if ever - been mentioned since Kandi arrived on the show in 2009. He clearly has not been a good father and Riley - now 13 years old - wants nothing to do with him. Kandi calls him a "poster boy for deadbeat." She tearfully told Sheree that when she was pregnant with Riley, he said he didn't want to be involved. What is he doing back in the picture? Kandi is not impressed that he didn't have the guts to show up himself. Future drama is inevitable, as trailers reveal.

This wasn't the way Kandi wanted it.

"I didn't have a relationship with my father," Kandi said. "And I don't want to see my child go through that."

-Sheree Whitfield: Sheree's ex husband Bob is still trying to woo her back. She came over his house. He made her a smoothie and then asked her up to the bed. He also showed off his more svelte figure, saying his dad died at 44 and he wants to make sure he's around longer for his kids. Their co-parenting has been going better but she is still hurt by how he had cheated on her and treated her during the divorce eight years earlier. So for now, the door remains closed on Bob. (Find out the latest about Sheree getting fined for a Bravo party at her house without proper permits.)

-Porsha Williams: She wants a baby but without a boyfriend in sight, she reaches out to an ex and asks him if she can basically have his sperm so they can co parent. He rejects this idea out right. He wants her to marry and have a family for real instead.

In other storylines:

-Kenya Moore meets Matt's family. There is some skepticism but overall, it goes okay. His sister was the toughest to please but Kenya convinces her she's sincere. This is the happiest we've seen Kenya since the show started.

-Cynthia Bailey sees her family. Her sister Malorie said she had talked to Peter a couple of times. He simply said he missed Cynthia. Cynthia said she misses him, too, but it just didn't work out. She repeated that she wants the divorce to be amicable and she wants peace.

-Phaedra Parks was around but there was no story advancement for her.
