This was clearly a transitional episode without any real drama.
The biggest story line is a set up for a confrontation next week between Nikko Smith's wife Margeaux and Mimi Faust.
Nikko told Margeaux last week that Mimi was the mastermind behind the sex tape when so far, we have been given the grand impression Nikko was the puppet master. Who to believe? Does it matter? Margeaux decides to believe her husband.
She tells Joseline Hernandez, who delights in seeing the possible Machiavellian side of Stevie J's ex. She eventually tells Karlie Redd, another big gossip. This is all in preparation for the rumor to inevitably get back to Mimi, who will surely react with equanimity and maturity. Or the opposite.
In other story lines:
- Stevie J is still in rehab and seems to be doing well in sobriety but worries about Joseline's resistance to not drinking and taking drugs in front of him. He talks with his friend and former musical partner Faith Evans, who is nothing but supportive.
- Momma Dee is back together with Ernest, the man she sent to prison seven years earlier. Son Lil Scrappy was thrown for a loop but his sister is even more negative toward Ernest and calls him an "opportunist." Clearly, a confrontation is forthcoming here as well.
- Rasheeda is angry at hubby Kirk Frost spending their money on a home and going way over budget: $100,000 over budget.
- Mimi is trying to manage two new artists Tiffany Foxx and Jessica Dime Piece. Mimi is more up with Jessica and gets a sitdown meeting with producer Jazze Pha, who has popped up on "Real Housewives" as well. Jessica seems fine until Tiffany shows up. Mimi didn't tell her this was a meeting so the two of them could get to know each other. Jessica wants all the attention and begins slagging Tiffany and they get into a row in front of Jazze, who is not pleased. Mimi is sufficiently appalled.
- Yet another character with the ridiculous name PriMadonna shows up - as if the show needs more characters.
