This felt like the apology episode. No wonder VH1 chose to run this on an off night instead of a regular night. (If you missed it, they will air the repeat during the normal 8 p.m. time slot on Monday.)
But not everyone is happy. This wouldn't be a good TV show if everyone was in a happy place.
Before we get to all the kumbaya stuff, we have Kaleena Harper causing trouble where there was none.
Rasheeda had set her up with Deb Atney (Waka Flocka's mom) as her potential new agent to replace Kaleena's hubby Tony Vick.
Everything seemed fine the first meeting. But Kaleena came in this episode with a strangely aggressive attitude toward Deb, acting like she's all that, that she was doing Deb a favor as opposed to the other way around. Deb didn't take this all that well and the meeting quickly fell apart.
Later, Deb's daughter in law Tammy Rivera showed up to defend Deb. Kaleena didn't think she did anything wrong and is offended Tammy got in the middle of it. They get into a verbal to do as the episode ended. Tomorrow, we'll see how it all plays out. The trailers show Kaleena and Rasheeda getting angry and then Kaleena crying to Tony about how everyone is against her. Boo hoo.
Otherwise, let's go through the apology tour.
I'm so sorry #1: First of all, Rasheeda last week thought client Ashley Nicole was messing with her husband Kirk Frost. So she ambushes her in her hotel room. Someone is in Ashley's room but it's not Kirk. It's her... girlfriend. She plays for the other team! Rasheeda feels a bit embarrassed by it all but Kirk is flattered. Later, Rasheeda apologizes to Ashley. "I want to clean that slate and try to have a better relationship," Rasheeda said.
I'm so sorry #2: Yung Joc officially closes his divorce with Alexandria He tells Khadiyah he is committed to her. He apologizes to her for the past drama and she appears receptive to him. Of course, Yung Joc's ex wife Alexandria is not thrilled when she hears he is going back to Khadiyah and goes a bit nuts.
I'm so sorry #3: Scrappy shows up for the first time in ages with Bambi and they seem to be getting along just fine. He then goes to Erica to tell her he's sorry about the child support problem and it will get resolved. No wonder the producers aren't giving them much air time. This story line is boooring.
I'm so sorry #4: Mimi apologizes to producer Jazze Phe about Jessica Dime and Tiffany Foxx getting into each other's faces after showing up at the same meeting earlier this season. He accepts the apology with grace, just thrilled to be in front of the TV cameras again. Mimi also apologizes to Tiffany for the whole Jazze Pha mess and Tiffany is amenable. Later, famed producer Jermaine Dupri meets up with Dime, courtesy of Mimi. Tiffany plays a song for Jermaine. He politely says there's some potential thought he is hardly bowled over. He doesn't have a track for her, but he wants to see if she can perform. Afterwards, Tiffany is thrilled to have met up with Dupri and tells Mimi how grateful she is to be working for her. Will anything come of this? We shall see.
Absent this hour: No Stevie J or Joseline! What???
