For the second week in a row, a "Big Brother" super fan in the form of supermarket cashier Jason Roy was eliminated from the competition.

Last week, Villa Rica's Audrey Middleton, a self-described super fan herself, knew she was going home and accepted it with some bitterness. She told me she hoped Jason would make it to the end but alas, the "Sixth Sense" alliance held together and Jason was blindsided out of the game. He did leave in good spirits.

Jason tried to threaten Atlantan Shelli Poole and her boy toy Clay Honeycutt so they would keep him. But Shelli and Clay stuck with Head of Household Vanessa Rousso and supported the utterly non-descript and non-threatening nonplayer Becky Burgess. Except for Steve Moses, she has gotten the least airtime to date and has been a serious dullard as a player.

Unfortunately for Jason, the Shelli-Clay-Austin-Vanessa-Liz/Julia alliance held strong. He blamed Shelli the most, calling her "evil personified" to Julie Chen, the host. He believes Clay and Shelli are "running"the game. He was kinder to Vanessa, a "strong game player" but is "more emotional and has more soul."

He was seen as a threat, Chen observed. He isn't sure why. He thought evicting him was  "shooting fish in a barrel" and maybe "they saw something I don't even recognize." He did figure out the twins early on but didn't use it for strategic reasons. He just told everyone.

As viewers of the show, losing Jason is unfortunate. He was spirited and fun. Despite his knowledge of the game, he failed to solidify a workable alliance. Before the blindside, he truly hoped that Vanessa would turn on Austin and Liz/Julia but she couldn't do it.

Shelli so far comes off as that slightly stuck up cheerleader type who sticks with her football quarterback boyfriend and is not well liked by many of the houseguests (or viewers for that matter.) And Clay comes off as that somewhat more likable dumb jock.

Yet people kiss up to them because of who they are. This really is high school!
