Two well-regarded shows that debuted last year are back and hope to avoid the sophomore slump: the CW's "Jane the Virgin" on Monday and FX's "Fargo" the same night.
Tracy Morgan, who was badly injured in a truck accident in New Jersey at the hands of a fatigued Walmart driver from Jonesboro, has recovered enough to host "Saturday Night Live" this Saturday. That should be an emotional evening.
Morgan, who was a cast member of "SNL" from 1996 to 2003, made a surprise appearance last month at the Emmys.
And a comic who has seen her star rise to A-list status, Amy Schumer, is airing an HBO comedy special the same night one week after hosting "SNL."
Plus, if you are a fan of Mary Tyler Moore, GPB will air a special Tuesday at 8 p.m.
This covers Monday, October 12 through Sunday October 18, 2015.
