So this is one thing taken off Donald Glover's busy plate: FX has decided to pull the plug on the animated "Deadpool" series planned by Donald and his brother Stephen Glover (FX's "Atlanta").

"Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel’s 'Deadpool' animated series,” the network said in a statement Saturday. “FX will no longer be involved with the project. FX and Marvel have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on 'Legion,' which will continue.”

"Legion" returns for a second season next month.

"Deadpool" was supposed to air on FX's sister comedy station FXX, which airs "Simpsons" reruns, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "Archer," produced  in Atlanta.

ABC Studios and Marvel may continue to pursue the series without the Glovers.

According to the Georgia film office, "Deadpool" has been in production in Atlanta in recent weeks.

Glover has plenty of other projects in his arsenal. FX is airing the second season of "Atlanta." He recently earned several Grammy nominations for Childish Gambino. He is voicing Simba in the upcoming musical reboot of 'The Lion King" and has a new Han Solo project coming out soon.
