All About Developmental Disabilities has rescheduled its Advocacy Day at the Capitol until March 5 due to the winter storm.

Relatives of Georgians with developmental disabilities will expand and practice their skills, learning to be advocates for their children and for developmental disability issues overall.  After a morning training session, they will put what they’ve learned into practice by meeting with their legislators at the Capitol. The training is provided by All About Developmental Disabilities.

This legislative session the group has focused on  a developmental disability agenda primarily focusing on employment issues and juvenile justice reforms.
