Students and families at an Atlanta middle school are sending a truck full of donations to help a South Carolina middle school where students were affected by flooding earlier this month.

Inman Middle School collected over $1,000 in gift cards, $300 in cash donations, and 32 boxes full of clothing, toiletries and other items to send to families at Hand Middle School in Columbia, South Carolina.

Principal Betsy Bockman and her son Tomas, a seventh grader at Inman, have already delivered some supplies and plan to make another trip.

Donations can still be dropped off this week at Inman Middle School, 774 Virginia Ave NE.
