Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas launch their “Honda Civic Tour: Future Now” tonight at Philips Arena, but the comely duo spent some time Tuesday hanging with the locals.

Their other tour sponsor, Marriott Rewards, hooked them up with a “sweet treats” truck that parked at Atlantic Station for about an hour before the pounding rain swept through and they were forced to close up shop.

But prior to the weather snafu, Jonas and Lovato handed out free popsicles with cutesy tie-in names such as “What’s Wrong with Being Coconut” and “Last Year was Bananas.”

The Marriott Rewards truck will be a regular presence on the tour, with pop-ups planned in various cities.

Those who can't attend the Atlanta tour kickoff can tap into TIDAL at 8 p.m. The streaming service will broadcast the show here (the site goes live at 6 p.m.).

I recently talked with Jonas and Lovato about what fans can expect from the "Future Now" run, which continues through September. Check it out here.
