I-75 ramp closures are expected to begin Thursday night and continue through July 22.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is beginning a resurfacing project on 1-75 from Jonesboro Road to the I-285 Interchange in Clayton County. The first exit to close will be the northbound Old Dixie Highway exit.

GDOT warns motorists to plan for at least one ramp closure every weeknight, usually from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Full weekend closures are expected to begin in August.

Here’s the tentative closure schedule:

Thursday, July 14 at 9 p.m. to Friday, July 15 at 5 a.m.: northbound Old Dixie Highway exit ramp (Exit No. 235)

Friday, July 15 at 9 p.m. to Saturday, July 16 at 9 a.m.: northbound Forest Parkway exit ramp (Exit No. 237)

Monday, July 18 at 9 p.m. to Tuesday, July 19 at 5 a.m.: northbound Forest Pkwy entrance ramp (Exit No. 237)

Tuesday, July 19 at 9 p.m. to Wednesday, July 20 at 5 a.m.: northbound exit ramp to I-285 eastbound (Exit No. 238A)

Wednesday, July 20 at 9 p.m. to Thursday, July 21 at 5 a.m.: southbound exit ramp to I-285 eastbound (Exit No. 238A)

Thursday, July 21 at 9 p.m. to Friday, July 22 at 5 a.m.:  southbound exit ramp to I-285 EB (Exit No. 238A)
