"I think it'll be a good game, but you can't bet against Tom Brady."

He was humbled to accept the top honor at the NFL Honors, happening tonight at the Fox Theatre in Midtown.

“Thank you to God,” he said “I want to say thank you to my family. Looking at this award ... any kid who looks up to me or any athlete: you can do anything. As long as you put your mind to it, anything is possible.”

In addition to his ROTY honors he was named, along with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as the 2018 FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Game. FedEx is donating $20,000 in each of their names to the USO through FedEx Cares.

Earlier this week Barkley put in an appearance at "She's Next, Empowered by Visa." The conference for women entrepreneurs was held at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.

"I'd rather be in the game, but to be able to come out to a place like this and be surrounded by women doing a great job in their community, it inspires me to one day start my own business," Barkley said. "It's amazing to be around."
