Juanita Broaddrick, who has long accused former President Bill Clinton of raping her in 1978, when he was serving as attorney general of Arkansas, says Time magazine interviewed her regarding the #MeToo movement but didn't publish her comments.
"The women and men who have broken their silence span all races, all income classes, all occupations and virtually all corners of the globe," Time said in its article announcing the choice. "They might labor in California fields, or behind the front desk at New York City's regal Plaza Hotel, or in the European Parliament. They're part of a movement that has no formal name. But now they have a voice."
Recently announced finalists included President Donald Trump, who tweeted that he'd passed on the honor (Time said that was incorrect), along with Colin Kaepernick. Kim Jong Un. and director Patty Jenkins. See all of the finalists here.
