5 ways to sip rosé on National Rosé day

It's time to celebrate our favorite pink and bubbly drink. June 10 is National Rosé Day and there are plenty of ways to drink rosé all day.

Sip on a icy frosé

Need a simple cocktail on a hot summer day? Whip up a frosé. The frozen drink is created by freezing some rosé and then blending it with sugar, ice, strawberries and a splash of lemon juice.

We are fans of these canned rosés

Our cocktail specialist Beth McKibben tried a variety of canned wines and gave us the verdict of which ones to try this summer. Her top picks includes Underwood Rose and Alloy Grenache Rose.

Moët and Chandon introduces new rosé

The new Moët Ice Imperial Rosé was made for summer brunch. The new champagne is the first champagne designed to be served over ice. Instead of diluting the drink, the ice compliments the  rosé champagne blend as it melts. The new drink will be available for $79.99/bottle and making its debut across the country soon.

Head out to these Atlanta bars for a night full of rosé

Whether it's lunch, dinner or a girls night out, rosé is on the menu across bars around Atlanta. At Aria in Buckhead sparkling and pink wines are hand-selected by general manager and wine director Andres Loaiza. Grab rosé by the glass or by the carafe at 8ARM in Poncey-Highland. In Grant Park, Mediterranea offers sangria mixed with rosé, gin and fresh berries.

Domaine de Triennes rosé, Provence, France

A rosé which has been described as summer in a bottle. Fresh with hints of citrus and red berries, this rosé is slightly dry with a moderate amount of acidity. Your porch sipper.

Commanderie de la Bargemone rosé, Provence, France 

An editor’s choice by Wine Enthusiast, this pale-colored rosé is crisp and dry with subtle notes of fresh watermelon and strawberries. A surprising touch of orange zest at the finish.

2012 Terrazze Dell’Etna rosé , Sicily, Italy

Sarah Pierre of 3 Parks Wine Shop in Glenwood Park tells us this sparkling rosé is 90% pinot noir and 10% nerello mascalese. Grown on volcanic soil, the barely pink rosé is delicate yet balanced with notes of fresh red fruits like strawberry and raspberry.

Moët Grand Vintage rosé 2008, Champagne, France

Drinks like a light red with tight bubbles and good effervescence that’s not overwhelming. A nice balance between the dry and sweet Champagne styles.
