Shingo Gokan, who was named International Bartender of the Year at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans , is a busy guy. In addition to his work as the creative director at Himitsu in Buckhead, he owns two bars in Shanghai, is working on opening a few more, and consults at bars all over the world ( to get an idea of how much he travels, consider that he has an apartment in New York but only spends about two months total there in the course of a year).
