Is it the end of summer or the beginning of fall? Either way, GRAIN will be celebrating both seasons and festive moods with a party called the (Expletive) Catalina Wine Mixer from 5-10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. Sense of humor? Check. Over-the-top hoorah fueled by specialty Mezcal Margaritas, Irish Coffee Slushies and wine? Absolutely. Epic party? Undoubtedly.

Throughout this “’cause I’m happy” affair, the faithful bar team will serve Three Taverns Brewery’s A Night on Ponce IPA drafts for $2 a pop. Chef Sid Blackwell will be serving a variety of specialty tacos along with frightfully mouth-watering sandwiches called “God and the Devil” Carolina Reaper “Grilled Cheesus.” The aforementioned menu specials are optional; diners will be able to order their faves from GRAIN’s standard menu, which features fresh oysters, house-cured charcuterie and tasty-with-a-twist dishes such as the nitro-salted caramel popcorn and cheddarwurst corn dog.

The party would be incomplete without classic movies like “Step Brothers,” an ode to GRAIN’s weekly Throwback Thursday tradition.

Party people, get ready.
