If one day you're feeling like sushi and the next day tapas are calling your name, you're in luck -- a variety of restaurant are offering eclectic menus during New South Culinary Week. Combining Midtown Restaurant Week and Buckhead Restaurant Week, with some spots in other areas thrown in, the weeklong event -- running from Oct. 1-8, gives food lovers a chance to sample food from different restaurants with affordable tasting menus.
The Mexican menu's options include guacamole, roasted chicken mole and the Alma sundae for $35.
The $35 menu's options include fried avocado, snapper con quinoa and flan de coco.
Get three pinxtos and one dessert for $35, with options including bikini, chistorra in a blanket and pan con tomate, buttermilk doughnuts or gateau basque.
Choose from Persian staples including hummus, turkey "kufta" meatballs and kabobs for a $25 three-course dinner.
The $25 menu will include bites of arancini, orecchiette pasta, marcherita pizza and gelato and sorbet
The $35 three-course prix fixe menu includes a variety of choices at each course, with dishes including piquillo peppers with braised beef, lamb shank with chickpeas, crème fraiche, roasted Cipollini and broccoli rabe leaves, and a slice of opera cake with hazelnut milk jam.
During lunch, get two tapas along with your choice of chocolate turtle cake, trés leches and Spanish flan for $15. For dinner, get your choice of three tapas and a glass of sangria for $35.
The $35 prix-fixe dinner menu's selections include local lettuce topped with either Caesar and fried oysters or blue cheese, bacon and radishes, roasted mountain trout or bistro steak selection and toffee pudding
The $25 menu will offer dishes including pork cheek tacos, bacon wrapped dates, lomo de cerdo and churros.
The $35 Italian three-course menu features dishes including risotto bianco and tiramisu.
The $35 three-course menu includes options such as New England-style clam chowder, Cascciucco seafood stew and coconut chiffon cake.
Get three courses for $35, with options including hamachi carpaccio, chef choice nigiri or sashimi or marilyn mon roll.
The $15 menu includes chips and salsa, a choice of any three tacos and a side of rice and beans.
The $35 menu offers options including roasted beet salad, pan seared salmon and bread pudding.
Options on the $35 menu include pork BBQ scallion hoecake paired with cider brined pork chop featuring summer squash casserole, benne seed crumble and squash relish.
The $35 dinner menu features options including fried green tomato salad, grilled hangar steak and a s’more bar.
The $35 dinner menu includes options such as bruschetta, lasagna, risotto con gamberi e porcini and Nutella cheesecake.
Choose from two menus: blistered and spiced grilled okra, buttermilk fried chicken and banana pudding for dessert for $25 or fried green tomatoes, red wine glazed short rib and honey buttermilk cheesecake for $35.
