Many cocktail-loving hearts broke when H. Harper Station owner Jerry Slater announced he was closing the doors to the Reynoldstown bar and eatery in April 2016.

Since the closure, Slater has moved on to other ventures, and now the the old rail station at 904 Memorial Drive SE that housed H. Harper will be getting a new occupant.

Restaurateur Michael Lennox, who opened the Beltline-adjacent Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall in 2014 and expanded with the Grove outdoor space last year will open Golden Eagle, according to What Now Atlanta, who cited plans filed with the city of Atlanta.

Little information has been released, but the restaurant's Facebook page lists the concept as "classic American."
