The latest young adult literary sensation, Veronica Roth, marks the release of her new book, "Fourth: A Divergent Collection," with a four-city national tour that includes a stop in Decatur July 10.
The book (publication date July 8) features four short stories set in the same apocalyptic dystopia Roth created for her Divergent trilogy, which has sold more than 22 million copies since it debuted in 2011.
Joining Roth will be Marie Lu, author of the Legend series. They appear 7 p.m. July 10 at Agnes Scott College, Presser Hall, 141 E. College St., Decatur.
Available at Little Shop of Stories, tickets are $30, which includes admission for two, a pre-signed copy of Roth's "Fourth" and a pre-signed paperback copy of Lu's "Legend." Call 404-373-6300 for details.
Co-presented by the AJC Decatur Book Festival, the event is sponsored by the AJC, Atlanta Plan-In and WABE.
Coincidentally, "Insurgent," the second in Roth's Divergent series, is currently filming in metro Atlanta.
