Kennesaw State track and field athletes fall short at USATF Outdoor Championship

Kennesaw State’s Jordan Gray and Andre Dorsey fell short of qualifying for August’s IAAF World Championships in London over the weekend during the USATF Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Sophomore Jordan Gray played 14th in the heptathlon at Sacramento State’s Hornet Stadium with 5640 points. Gray recorded a long jump leap of 5.76 meters, a javelin distance of 38.52 meters and an 800-meter time of 2:26.27.

Dorsey, a former Owl, recorded a distance of 7.43 meters in the men’s long jump and finished 18th.
