Atlanta United and LAFC won’t play until April 7 when they will meet at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
But the Five Stripes have already notched a victory over the expansion team by virtue of the Falcons’ 26-13 win over the Rams in the NFL playoffs on Saturday.
Before the American football teams met at L.A. Coliseum, LAFC proposed a bet with Atlanta United over the result:
Hey @ATLUTD, let’s bet on #ATLvsLA

Loser reps the winner’s colors.
Let’s go @RamsNFL 👌
Atlanta United’s reply, with LAFC’s answer:
A bet’s a bet. Stay tuned. 🤦♂️ https://t.co/SvgJ9IdbDM
