Mets' Kevin Pillar is hit in the face with a pitch from Braves reliever Jacob Webb in the seventh inning Monday, May 17, 2021, at Truist Park in Atlanta.

The Mets announced Tuesday that outfielder Kevin Pillar “suffered multiple nasal fractures” when he was struck in the face during the 3-1 win over the Braves at Truist Park in Atlanta.

On a two-strike pitch — with the bases loaded — in the seventh inning, Braves reliever Jacob Webb hit Pillar in the face with a 94.5-mph fastball.

Pillar went down and blood poured from his nose when he lifted his head before eventually walking off the field.

After the game, Mets manager Luis Rojas said the outfielder was taken to the hospital for a CT scan. Pillar later tweeted that he was “doing fine.”

The Mets on Tuesday said Pillar would be “meeting with a facial specialist in Atlanta to determine next steps.”

Webb was shaken by the incident. He was replaced with Sean Newcomb, who completed the inning. Cameras caught Braves coaches chatting and trying to encourage a distraught Webb in the dugout.
