‘You are killing Jews’: Man dragged out of Trump news conference Monday

The event in Iowa took place as Democrats caucused the state Monday

At a campaign stop in West Des Moines, Iowa, a man heckling President Donald Trump had to be dragged out by security Monday evening.

Trump was speaking on the campaign trail at a pre-caucus rally called “Keep Iowa Great” when a man, who has been identified as Elon Glickman, began yelling and pointing at the stage.

A clip began circulating of Glickman, who according to his Twitter profile is an organizer with If Not Now Org. He can be seen being dragged out of the speaking engagement at the Sheraton Hotel.

“You are killing Jews — all of you, all of you in here are killing Jews.”

Hunter Walker, a White House correspondent with Yahoo News, shared a video of the incident on his Twitter page Monday. It had been viewed more than 41,000 times as of Monday evening. It was unclear whether Glickman had been detained or faced any charges.

Trump and his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, spoke at the event.

“I want someone at the helm, I want someone making the decisions that our grandkids will have to live by,” Eric Trump told supporters Monday. “Who’s actually done these things in the real world; who’s actually done it from a position of practice and certainly not just academic warped, commie theory, which is what we’re getting from the other side these days. There has never been a greater divide between the two parties.”

The incident happened as Democrats prepared to caucus across Iowa on Monday in hopes of gaining the support of thousands along the trail.

What happens in Iowa will impact the outlook for which Democratic presidential candidates will rise to the top during one of the most contested elections in recent history.
