If you're looking for a place to jumpstart your career, you've settled in the right location. Atlanta has been named one of the best cities for jobs by Glassdoor.

ATL came in at No. 18 on the top 25 list, while Pittsburgh and Indianapolis placed first and second, respectively.

The career resource site determined its results by analyzing the 50 most populated U.S. metro areas across three major categories: hiring opportunities, cost of living and job satisfaction.

Researchers found that The Peach City currently has 195,021 job openings, and it has a job satisfaction rate of 3.4 out of 5.

They also noted that the median base salary is $46,000, and the median home value is $179,900.

They even identified the positions with the most openings, such as mechanical engineers, physical therapists and marketing managers.
