‘Star’

Lee Daniels' Fox musical drama is now filming its second season. The series tells the story of a girl named Star (Jude Demorest) who travels to Atlanta with her sister Simone (Brittany O'Grady) and spoiled rich girl Alexandra (Ryan Destiny) to try to become famous as a girl group. Queen Latifah portrays Star and Simone's godmother.

What are they looking for?

The following roles are being filled:

Film production workers: African American-looking males over 18 who look like they're in their 20s to early 30s are needed to portray film set workers:

Paramedic: Men and women of any ethnicity are needed to portray paramedics, and real EMS experience is a plus.

Coroner: Men and women of any ethnicity are needed to portray coroners in a prison.

When are they filming?

Filming will take place in the Atlanta area on Aug. 4 for paramedics and coroners and Aug. 7 for film production workers.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $68 for eight hours.
