A father and his young son had an exchange on camera, during an interview with French media in front of the memorial growing at the scene of the Bataclan theater attacks on Friday.
Attacks in multiple locations left 129 people dead and many more injured. Islamic State militants claimed responsibility for the attacks.

The interview between the father and child was originally posted by Le Petit Journal and was later reposted by someone who subtitled the video with a translation.
During the conversation, the young boy says he is afraid and is concerned that his family will have to move because of the “really, really mean” people who carried out the attacks. His father reassures him that France is their home and ultimately convinces the boy that the growing memorial outside the theater - heaps of flowers and candles to remember the victims — is the way to fight the violence.
